Licensing, Insurance and Responsibility

What is safe to try myself before you arrive?

Cutting the water off at an isolation valve or the meter tends to help and limits the damage. Leave anything to do with gas well alone and ring us instead.

What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?

The labour on every job. If it's not right, we come back. No questions. No cost.

Who can legally do gas work in NSW?

A licensed gas fitter, exclusively, under state law. Smell gas before we arrive? Get outside, ring from there, and don't touch a switch on the way.

Can I check your plumbing licence?

Yes, whenever you like. It's NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and asking to see it is completely fair.

Response and Booking

How does the callback form work?

Leave your number and a line about what's wrong, and someone rings back fast, day or night.

How fast can you get here?

Every job jumps the queue as urgent, and getting someone on-site fast is the goal. The exact timing shifts with your street and how stretched the roster already is, but we won't dress that up on the call.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Flooding, a gas smell, a cold shower with no hot water, or a jammed toilet all count as genuinely urgent. Going on instinct is fine here: active damage is worth a call on its own.

What happens after I call?

Describe the problem, we'll get a plumber heading your way, and the figure's settled face-to-face before any work starts.

The Freshwater Side of Things

How local are you to Freshwater, really?

Local enough to place Watermark Freshwater up on the headland and the medical centre nearby without checking a map. That comes from working the suburb regularly, not looking it up beforehand.

Why do Freshwater's older homes keep us busy?

Warringah Council required brick construction here from the 1930s, and plenty of those solid brick homes are still standing. Original hot water systems and ageing gas fittings from that era are common, and the salt air off the beach speeds up wear on anything metal outside.

Do tree roots really block drains around Freshwater?

Yes, particularly near Soldiers Avenue, where the heritage brushbox trees have had decades to work into the older clay drains nearby. Once roots get into a joint, the blockage only gets worse.

Do you work on Freshwater's apartments and strata blocks?

Constantly. More than half of Freshwater's homes are flats or units these days, mixed in among the older brick houses. Strata jobs get the same fixed price and direct contact with whoever manages the block as any house.

Money, Fixed Prices and the $0 Call Out Fee

How do your quotes work?

One of our plumbers checks the job with their own eyes, then names a single figure before touching anything.

Agree to it and that's the number on the invoice, nothing tacked on afterward.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No, it's $0 to have someone assess the job, whatever you decide to do next.

Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?

Not one extra dollar. The price we quote is the price you pay, no matter the hour or the date.

Is the quote really free?

Completely free, every time. Turning down the work afterward costs you nothing either.
